These are perfect to bring to any occasion, or even for you to just snack
on at home. These are super customizeable, and I like recipes you can
customize!
Ingredients
1 box Duncan Hines cake mix, any flavor
2 eggs
1/2 c. vegetable oil
Equipment
Cookie sheets
Wax paper or cooling racks
Cooking spray or silicon baking mats
Optional
Chocolate chips, chopped nuts, icing, sprinkles, etc. etc.
Directions
Step 1. In a mixing bowl, pour in the cake mix and the half cup of oil. Mix
until combined.
Step 2. Beat in one egg at a time. It doesn't matter if you stir by hand or
with an electric mixer.
Step 3. Knead the batter with your hands; the batter should be a dough
consistency.
Step 4. Make sure that before you start your oven is set to 350 degrees.
When dough is ready, drop on a greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
Step 5. Allow them to bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Then allow your cookies
to cool on a sheet of wax paper or on cooling racks.
Step 6. If you like you can add chocolate chips and chopped nuts and
anything else you like. You can put this in when you're making the dough.
When they cool you can also put icing on them and decorate them.
Enjoy!
When I did this, I doubled the recipe, so that will require some math. I
used dark chocolate fudge cake mix and Ghiradelli milk chocolate chips and
chopped wallnuts. The chocolate chips and nuts went in the dough. I
then used chocolate icing and I mixed in some mini chocolate chips in the
icing, so I had chocolate on chocolate! Thought you guys would enjoy
knowing how I made mine, but you can customize yours any way you
want.
Bleeeeeeeeeehh!
